Buddies

 Last weekend Pluto and Kadynce stayed with us. Pluto is a Mastiff / Great Dane mix and Kadynce is a Beagle. They were instant buddies and even slept on the couch together the first night.

I'm not sure what it is, but there is something so funny looking about a HUGE dog laying next to a much smaller dog.

I also love how Kadynce would lay with her legs behind her like this. I called it her "froggy legs".   :-)

For The Love of Water

Never have I met a dog who loves water as much as this black lab named Sammy.  Here she is having a blast playing in the sprinkler. It was a great 2-for-1 deal: water the yard and entertain the dog.  :-)

Dog Days of Summer

 Summer has finally come to Bothell. Yesterday was a beautiful day. We filled up the pool and the dogs enjoyed a chance to cool off.

 My husband was watering the garden and Sam loved trying to jump at the water for a drink.

Teamwork

 Last week we had 2 of the cutest Boston Terriers. They loved playing tug-o-war with another dog. They made me laugh because they would team up. Both pulling on the rope against the bigger dog.

 

Sweet Sophie

Last weekend Sophie stayed with us. She is a sweet 6 year old yellow lab. I love this picture of her super sweet face.

We Love Big Dogs!

Last week Pluto stayed with us. He is a Great Dane / Mastiff mix. Pluto spent a lot of time napping on our loveseat. These pictures of a huge dog sleeping make me laugh. His long legs hanging off the edge of his couch look so goofy and sweet.

A Dog's Life

We have had some pretty sweet dogs who have stayed with us over the past month. We have had old ones and young ones. Dogs who want to play and dogs who just wanted to nap. We love them all!

Doesn't he look like a big fluffy teddybear? :-)   He is such a sweetheart. He just loves to cuddle and wants to be by our side at all times.

He did something that made us laugh so hard. He was over at the water bowl and all of a sudden we heard a funny sound. He was blowing bubbles in the water! We couldn't stop laughing! Never have we seen a dog blow bubbles in their water. Seppi is like a funny little kid.

We had Rosie, an English Springer Spaniel. I just adored her. She is SO sweet and she would spend hours laying on the couch with me.

Why Are Dogs & Cats Playing Together Always So Funny?

Our cat Oscar loves dogs and I laugh every time we have a dog who becomes friends with him. We recently had a 2 year old mini schnauzer named Simon. He was so excited when he met Oscar and he just wanted to play! Oscar of course thought this was fantastic. :-)

Dances With Woofs

This is Hailey. She is a 5yr old mix who we think may be a bit Chinook Husky. She arrived with a dog bed that said "Dances With Woofs". I laughed so hard. Gotta love a clever idea! :-)

One thing that stands out about her is how she wags her tail. She has no rhythm! I swear. She wags it in circles...then up and down...then left and right. When she is happy and excited she wags her tail a lot. She wags that tail ALL OVER THE PLACE! It's the funniest and cutest thing ever! She also have such a sweet face. She loves to cuddle and when I pet her muzzle she closes her eyes and falls asleep. She has been such a sweetheart and we have loved having her this past week.
